Count Sarah Palin among the sane who clearly doesn’t think a clock or school supplies should look like an explosive device. The former Alaska governor has weighed in on the story of a teen in Texas who suddenly has a White House invitation. Palin posted on Facebook: I Guess Muhammad’s Pencil Box is Cooler Than the Palin Kids’. The post includes a link to Bristol Palin’s take on the story and then some strong words from Sarah Palin herself regarding the matter.
Governor Palin wrote: “It doesn’t look like a pencil box to me.”
Palin provided a link to her daughter’s blog, in which Bristol blasts President Obama for getting involved at all. ” This is the kind of stuff Obama needs to STAY out of,” said Bristol Palin. “This encourages more racial strife that is already going on with the ‘Black Lives Matter’ crowd and encourages victimhood. The police made a mistake, clearly. But why put more people against them? Why egg it on? Childish games like this from our president have divided our country… even more today than when he was elected.”
Clearly, Bristol’s mother agrees.
Sarah Palin ripped apart the whole clock flap, including actual facts in her post and a retrospective of Obama’s record of butting in:
Talk about the dangers of a reactionary-slash-biased media! The first reports on this potential bomb-imitator were so fishy to begin with,” Palin said. “Friends, consider the kids disciplined and/or kicked out of school for bringing squirt guns to school or taking bites out of a pop tart until it resembled (to some politically correct yahoo) a gun. Or the student out deer hunting with his dad early one morning who forgot he had a box of ammo in his truck when he parked in the school’s lot later that day. Kids humiliated and intimidated for innocent actions like those real examples are often marked the rest of their lives and made to feel really rotten. Whereas Ahmed Muhammad, an evidently obstinate-answering student bringing in a homemade “clock” that obviously could be seen by conscientious teachers as a dangerous wired-up bomb-looking contraption (teachers who are told “if you see something, say something!”) gets invited to the White House.
While perhaps disturbing, Palin does not find Obama’s actions surprising:
By the way, President Obama’s practice of jumping in cases prematurely to interject himself as the cool savior, wanting so badly to attach himself to the issue-of-the-day, got old years ago,” Palin said. ” Remember him accusing police officers doing their job as “acting stupid”; claiming if he had a son, he’d look like Trayvon Martin; claiming he needed to know who was a fault in an industrial accident so he’d “know who’s a** to kick”; etc., etc. Those actions are about as presidential as his selfie stick.
If words aren’t enough, Palin included pictures comparing Muhammad’s pencil box to the ones laying around the Palin household. On one hand you see standard school supplies used by the Palin children. Quite a different sight than the mess of wires and equipment put together by Muhammad. Palin also includes a link of a Breitbart News piece on the suspicious background of Muhammad.
“Yep, believing that’s a clock in a school pencil box is like believing Barack Obama is ruling over the most transparent administration in history,” Palin added. “Right. That’s a clock, and I’m the Queen of England.”
While Palin is obviously being facetious when comparing herself to royalty, Obama, a man who has declined to honor children of fallen police officers, Chris Kyle, and countless other true heroes seems to have anointed this student, Clock King. A student who’s done nothing more than make something that’s disrupted a classroom, school, and nation.
