Comedian Sandra Bernhard blasted GOP presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee recently for his outspoken support of Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis.
On her new radio show, called Sandyland, Bernhard went on an expletive-laced tirade about Davis, who was jailed for five days for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples because it was at odds with her religious beliefs.
“Huckabee! F*ckabee! Suckabee!” said Bernhard on the show, per Page Six. “[He] said this woman Kim Davis should have a special dispensation! No, bitch! You don’t tell us the Supreme Court makes these decisions, then this woman gets a special dispensation. Quit! Go find another [bleeping] job! This is the law you’re supposed to uphold.”
Huckabee has been vocal in his support for Davis, even holding a rally to protest her imprisonment, and says Americans must stand with Kim to show they are against “criminalization of Christianity” and “judicial tyranny.”
“We need to show the country that not only do we stand with Kim Davis but that we stand against judicial tyranny,” Huckabee told Breitbart News earlier this month. “You cannot stand by and have the criminalization of Christianity.”
