Mississippi Man Convicted for Raping Girlfriend’s 13-Year-Old Daughter

A man in Jackson, Mississippi, was sentenced Monday for the 2011 rape of his girlfriend’s 13-year-old daughter, the courts reported this week.

Christoper Wilson, 31, “pleaded guilty to one count of gratification of lust” in a Jackson courtroom.

Police report that Wilson was dating the child’s mother, and all three were living at his own mother’s home when the rape occurred in 2011.

Court documents say that upon returning home, Wilson’s mother observed him exiting a closet while pulling up his pants. In the closet, the woman saw the girl lying on the floor with her pants around her ankles.

Wilson was sentenced to 15 years under the supervision of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with ten years in jail and five years suspended. Wilson will also be required to undergo three years of court supervision after the ten-year sentence.
