Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton considered her husband Bill Clinton to be her running mate, though it would possibly be unconstitutional.
“He would be good, but he’s not eligible, under the Constitution,” Hillary Clinton told Extra TV host Mario Lopez. “He has served his two terms and I think the argument would be as vice president it would not be possible for him to ever succeed to the position — at least that’s what I’ve been told.”
Clinton is falling fast in the Democratic primary race, amid a private email scandal and a surge by left-wing challenger Bernie Sanders and the possibility that Vice President Joe Biden might jump in.
