Former Senior White House adviser David Axelrod insinuated Sunday that Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign is uninspiring and based purely on entitlement.
Axelrod, who served in the Obama White House at the same time as Clinton–then Secretary of State–said that while she currently sits at the top of the Democratic presidential primary, the race is hers to lose as polls show her slipping against her main declared rival, Bernie Sanders.
The Democratic strategist then summed up Clinton’s campaign message as a declaration of inevitability, which he says surrogates and supporters will have a hard time using to inspire undecided voters. “‘Hillary: Live With It’ is no rallying cry!” he concluded.
