On Monday, political analyst Steve Schmidt told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that Donald Trump is “emasculating” fellow Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush with his attacks.
The on-going feud between Trump and Bush has been going on for some time now. Trump said Bush is too phony and nice, but “unhappy” and low-energy, while Bush has attacked Trump’s wish to build a wall at the United States border with Mexico, calling it “unrealistic.”
“Look, Jeb Bush was a very successful governor, he’s a thoughtful man, he was a good, conservative governor. But every day, Donald Trump is emasculating Jeb Bush, and Republican primary voters are not going to default to the establishment candidate who is being weakened by these attacks that go unresponded to,” explained Schmidt.
