On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump was asked to react to polling that suggested he was not viewed favorably among women.
According to the real estate mogul, he will ultimately do well among women and wil be “the best thing that ever happened to women.”
“The women I think I’ll do great with because I cherish women,” he said. “My daughter Ivanka and my wife, they say, ‘You should really talk more about the women’s issues because frankly Bush came out against funding women’s health issues.’ And I was incensed when I saw that. I thought it was ridiculous. I will be the best thing that ever happened to women. I cherish women.”
