Republican presidential hopeful Jeb Bush clarified his “anchor babies” comments after being confronted by protestors in Englewood, CO Tuesday morning.
Bush tried to clarify his comments, which is seen by some as offensive, but instead found himself angering another group after he said his comments were “frankly, more related to Asian people,” which he also had to clarify.
“Look, my record is pretty clear. I’m married to a Mexican-American United States citizen. I’m immersed in the culture. I’m bilingual. I feel like I’m bicultural. I’m proud of the diversity of my own family.”
