Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” co-host Mika Brzezinski reacted to remarks from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, a 2016 Democratic presidential hopeful, had made in an interview with Iowa Public Radio downplaying the issues involved with her email server.
“I won’t pretend that this is anything other than what it is — the same old partisan games we’ve seen so many times before,” Clinton said in the interview. “So I don’t care how many superPACs and Republicans pile on. I’ve been fighting for families and underdogs my entire life, and I’m not going to stop now.”
Brzezinski criticized Clinton and others like her and suggested they not make assumptions about the American public.
“It was something I was saying last week,” Brzezinski said. “I wish that some of these politicians would stop thinking the American people are so stupid.”
