A new Iowa poll of Republicans shows that Sen. Marco Rubio was cited as the most impressive 2016 candidate during the primetime Fox News Republican debate.
Of the 10 candidates featured on the stage, Rubio was cited by 23.40 percent of the respondents as the candidate who impressed them the most. Ben Carson came in second with 22.44 percent while Ted Cruz wrapped up third place with 11.22 percent.
The poll was released by Suffolk University today in reaction to the debates.
Donald Trump ended up in fourth place at impressing the Iowa respondents, with 10.58 percent.

Overall, Trump still leads the poll with 17 percent support, when voters were asked to pick a candidate if the election would be held today.
Walker is in second with 12 percent and Rubio in third with 10 percent.
