CLEVELAND, Ohio: Several of the GOP presidential candidates have posted on Facebook a question they would like to hear fellow candidates answer during Thursday’s Fox News debate.
GOP frontrunner Donald Trump posted on Facebook his question, while also finding a way to sneak his campaign slogan in there. Trump said, “I’d like to ask all of the candidates–that is, politicians and really non-negotiators, people that don’t negotiate jobs and lots of other things–how are you going to make America great again?”
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker posted to Facebook, “Hi I’m Scott Walker and I’ve got a question for all the Republican candidates in the debate on Thursday. Which candidate do you admire the most? For me, it’s Dr. Ben Carson. He performed the first successful surgery on conjoined twins.”
Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry posed the question, “During the Obama recession, this country lost 400,000 jobs. The state of Texas–we helped create 1.5 million jobs by putting good policies and tax regulatory legal system into place. So, what have you done, or what will you do to make America’s economy that successful?”
Also posting on Facebook, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee asked the question, “The Supreme Court is not the Supreme Being, so do you believe that the recent ruling on same-sex marriage is the law of the land?”
Former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina asked, “In early February of this year, I challenged Mrs. Clinton to name an accomplishment. She hasn’t been able to name one yet. How would each of you challenge Mrs. Clinton?”
Lindsey Graham (R-SC) posted his question relating to the threat of the Islamic State in the Middle East. Graham asked, “I believe it’s impossible to degrade and destroy ISIL in Iraq or Syria without an American ground force or troops in Iraq or a regional army going into Syria with American ground forces. If you think I’m wrong, then tell me how you can degrade and destroy ISIL without American ground forces?”
Facebook sent the media an email alert about the candidates’ question videos.
