Out of all the GOP presidential candidates, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee is the most likable, according to a new Gallup survey.
The poll surveyed Republican voters and found the following percentages of favorability among the GOP candidates:
Mike Huckabee- 55%
Jeb Bush- 54%
Marco Rubio- 53%
Rick Perry- 51%
Ted Cruz- 50%
Rand Paul- 47%
However, the poll also measured which candidates are the most well-known. Donald Trump, according to the results, is the best-known candidate with 92%. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush comes in second under that factor.
The poll was conducted from July 8th to July 21st and surveyed roughly 1,028 Republicans and right leaning Independents. It examined the candidates well-known factor with the favorability of the candidate.
“Three candidates are comparatively well-regarded in the GOP field but are not well-known. Carson, Walker and Jindal all have essentially the same familiarity rating of about 50%, but each man has a higher-than-average net favorable score. Carson, in particular, has one of the highest net favorable scores of all candidates, at +40,” Gallup noted.
