At least three people — including the shooter — have been reported dead after a shooting Thursday night at The Grand 16 Theatre in Lafayette, Louisiana.

According to Lafayette police chief Jim Craft, the shooting occurred around the 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening showing of the film “Trainwreck.”

Witnesses have said that the shooter was a middle-age male that just stood up during the showing and began shooting at random.

“Prayers for Lafayette at Grand Theater. Talking to state police colonel about shooting in Lafayette,” Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal said on his Twitter account.
