On Monday, Fox News Channel and talk radio host Sean Hannity stated that Donald Trump’s remark that “I like people that weren’t captured” made him “cringe.”
During his interview with former Texas Governor and Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry, Hannity remarked that while Trump did say McCain was a hero four times, “the line that made me cringe is when he said, ‘I like people [that] weren’t captured.’ Which kind of insinuates, ‘Oh, what? Did you [want] to get captured?’ I think — that’s between him and John McCain as far as I’m concerned.”
Hannity added that he would advise Trump to apologize for the “I like people that weren’t captured” line, and “maybe make the call to John McCain.”
