Dissent is never more courageous or more dangerous than when the lynch mob is at your door. Patriots, look out your window.
The liberal media is our new lynch mob and they are on the march. If you think they are coming for your neighbor but not you, wake up and smell the ashes of the First Amendment.
If you ever owned a confederate flag or graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Virginia, Pennsylvania or Kalamazoo, watch out. They know that in your heart – in your DNA, to use our Dear Leader’s terminology — you are a racist, and you must pay – not for your sins, but the sins of your ancestors, which are after all, your crimes, too. Again, remember: it’s in your DNA.
You can see the mob coming, but there is really nowhere to hide. Their target is not your home, it’s your country, America. The mob has judged America racist, and the mob, Obama’s transformative, robotic mob, will not be satisfied until the America you and your ancestors knew is destroyed.
Yes, it’s the confederate flag today, but it will be the American flag tomorrow. That is already happening on college campuses, the laboratory and proving ground for all progressive political correctness. If it sells to college freshmen, it will sell on Hollywood Tonight and MSNBC.
If you haven’t heard the good news yet, you will soon: The American flag is the next target of the New Racism, because it symbolizes “white privilege” and of course, white guilt—which is of course fueled by capitalist greed and Christianity. All of those heresies must be “called out” and expelled from our culture. Then we can march shoulder to shoulder into a brighter future.
Our college generation is being taught, and you, too, must learn and must accept the New Enlightenment. The confederate flag and the confederacy were mere surrogates for the real villain of modern history, America itself. The United States tolerated slavery for three generations, from 1789 to 1865, and then tolerated racial discrimination for 150 years afterwards.
Never mind that the Constitution of 1787 was the first document in all of human history to put an expiration date on the slave trade, and never mind that for much of the Old South, the Civil War was fought not to preserve slavery as such but to preserve a state’s right to decide that question for itself. But the mob is impatient with the nuances of history when there are dragons to be slayed.
The new political correctness says that all Americans must pay for the sins of our forefathers, and no distraction or detour from that holy mission can be allowed.
Friends, you WILL get with the program.
The first test of your understanding of the new Progressive Patriotism is to obey the mob’s command: burn the confederate flag. And if you never owned a confederate flag, you must go purchase one and then burn it. Now, don’t you feel better? It’s like a secular baptismal; all is forgiven. Hallelujah.
Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, the mob’s target will be the American flag, and tomorrow taking down that flag will not be a distasteful and unpatriotic thing to do. It will be the progressive thing to do. The mob will praise you for it.
One of the first acts of the next progressive majority in the Congress will not be to redesign the $20 bill, it will be to redesign the American flag. The thirteen red and white stripes symbolizing the original thirteen states – states that practiced or tolerated slavery– must be replaced. We will need in their place a unified field of one color, and not the color white – the color or oppression — but red, the symbol of radical transformation.
There is a reason the mob is only interested in attacking, denouncing, delegitimizing and replacing the symbols of America’s past and not the symbols of other, greater sins against freedom and humanity. Organized hatred needs a single target to serve political mobilization, so no distractions can be allowed.
Islam’s ongoing oppression of women? That’s Islamophobia. ISIL’s genocidal war on Christianity? Israeli propaganda. China’s gulags? Shut up. Iran’ nuclear weapons program? Fearmonger!
There is something deeply disturbing about a popular culture that will not forgive the sins of the confederacy seven generations past, but celebrates the teachings and legacies of Che Guevara, Mao Zhe-Dong and Jeremy Wright.
Whatever we call that disease, it’s coming to a kindergarten classroom near you soon.
