Monday on AM 970’s “The Joe Piscopo Show,” Rep. Peter King (R-NY) discussed the potential Iran nuclear deal and said President Barack Obama has an “insane” “soft love” for Iran that is too “risky.”
King said, “[Obama] believes that Iran and al Qaeda and these groups they act the way they do partly because of the Untied States for instance President Bush drove al Qaeda to do a lot of what they do. Iran feels isolated so that’s why they act the way they do. It’s almost like this soft love he wants to have. I think it’s insane. I think it is not going to work. I think it’s too much of a risk to take. But that’s where he is coming from. Remember he has been much more conciliatory towards Iran then he has ever been towards Israel.”
