Some franchises from the restaurant chain Chicken Express are celebrating July 4th by giving away a #1 combo meal to any customer who comes and shows his or her concealed carry weapons permit.
The offer is good at “select locations in Arkansas and Louisiana.”
According to CBS DFW, a Facebook announcement for the Magnolia, Arkansas Chicken Express said:
On Saturday July 4th we will be giving a FREE #1 combo to anyone with a Conceal Handgun License. This will be DINE IN ONLY. You must have your License with you! We hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July!
The Chicken Express in West Monroe, Louisiana, is running the same special on the 4th.
CBS DFW reports that “a Chicken Express location in Bossier City, Louisiana ran a similar promotion a couple of years ago. At that time, the owner said it was one of the biggest Saturdays they ever had.”
