Musician Wyclef Jean, who first appeared with Republican presidential contender Donald Trump on The Apprentice in 2005, is the latest to turn on the billionaire business magnate over comments made about illegal immigrants during his June 16 presidential announcement.
TMZ reports the 45-year-old rapper was performing in Pomona, CA, Thursday night when he stopped to go off on Trump.
In a video obtained by the entertainment news and gossip site, Wyclef told a crowd, “F— Donald Trump, he don’t like the Mexicans.”

On June 16, inside Trump Tower, Donald addressed problems regarding immigration and international trade, among other topics, and has been taking heat ever since.
“The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems,” Trump said. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”
Trump has refused to back down from the comments.
Wyclef Jean joins Colombian pop singer J. Balvin, Puerto Rican actress Roselyn Sanchez, and actor Cristian de la Fuente as the latest minor celebrity to condemn The Donald.
Balvin, Sanchez, and de la Fuente all cancelled appearances at next month’s Miss USA pageant
The American Spanish language TV network Univision also announced this week that it had cut ties with Trump’s Miss Universe organization following his remarks.
