GOP presidential candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump tells Greta Van Susteren of Fox News that the United States wouldn’t benefit from granting President Obama fast track trade authority through the TPA.
The Senate is scheduled to hold a key procedural vote on Trade Promotion Authority on Tuesday.
“We have to take the jobs away from other countries that are making our product, they’re taking our money, and they are in fact taking our jobs,” Trump said.
“That trade pact is a disaster for jobs in our country,” Trump added. “We should not have it … The fact is Obama is not a negotiator.”
“The last person I want negotiating for me is President Obama,” Trump concluded.
Trump also announced he’s officially filed his papers to run for president with the FEC.
