Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said that he was only joking when he said he would make Oprah Winfrey his vice president in an interview broadcast on Wednesday’s “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.
Trump said that while Winfrey is a “friend” of his, when he was asked by George Stephanopoulos, “who’s actually a really nice guy,” about his VP pick, both were joking. And his answer was “done in the form of a little sarcasm and a joke,” and that the vice presidency is “obviously” “not for her.”
