In a small but significant poll, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz defeated former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina by a single vote.
The New Hampshire Federation of Republican Women straw poll handed Cruz 21 votes to Fiorina’s 20, out of 94 total votes, according to NH1.com.
Despite his support for Obamatrade and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, Cruz is still polling well with Republican voters. A newly-released report from Public Policy Polling showed voters calling themselves “very conservative” gave Cruz 13 percent, only four points behind the leader, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
