Clinton Senior Adviser Joel Benenson remarked that it’s “fine” that Hillary Clinton has taken fewer press questions than the other presidential candidates on Friday’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC.
After Benenson remarked that, “she’s [Hillary] talked to the press out there,” host Andrea Mitchell stated, “well, far less than any of the other candidates out there.”
Benenson responded, “That’s fine. Andrea, we’ve got 17 months to go. I think you’re going to see a lot of her. she’s going to see of a lot of you. And you’ll be talking to her a lot.”
Benenson later added, “We think she and President Clinton share the same belief about making sure we have an economy that puts people first, that takes on the top-down policies that fail us. And we expect him to be a strong advocate for her and that case on the stump.”
