She may be too busy to answer questions from the lowly media … or even to provide you with a location – but according to her Twitter account, Hillary Clinton wants you to “get excited.”
Unfortunately, true to her penchant for a lack of disclosure, she isn’t saying where. Maybe that info is reserved for big foundation donors and heads of state she’s beholden to for coughing up the bucks to Clinton, Inc.:
Can’t you just feel the anticipation? Obviously, the lack of information is merely a troll: “It’s not yet clear where the event, which will be the first big rally of Clinton’s 2016 campaign, will be held. To date, Clinton has focused on smaller, more intimate gatherings in early voting states.”
Hillary Clinton and team want the media speculating about some mysterious event, as opposed to the mysterious donors she may have tried very hard to keep from the public discussion of her now infamous foundation. On the other hand, maybe she’s afraid to give out a location for her coming “big” event. Someone might show up demanding his money back. The Clinton Foundation reveals up to $26 million in additional payments:
The Clinton Foundation reported Thursday that it has received as much as $26.4 million in previously undisclosed payments from major corporations, universities, foreign sources and other groups.
The disclosure came as the foundation faced questions over whether it fully complied with a 2008 ethics agreement to reveal its donors and whether any of its funding sources present conflicts of interest for Hillary Rodham Clinton as she begins her presidential campaign.
Or worse, someone might show up with a subpoena for the queen bee herself:
A longtime confidant of Hillary Rodham Clinton has been subpoenaed to testify before a special House panel investigating the deaths of four Americans at the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, according to an official familiar with the probe.
