In his latest head-scratcher moment, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush left himself wide open for a swipe from Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL)—never a good idea—while leaving others wondering what the heck it was he was thinking, let alone talking about.
While there may be a point beneath Jeb’s comment, it’s difficult to understand. A diabetic doesn’t need a watch to know an ice cream sundae isn’t a smart dietary choice. Maybe Jeb’s Paleo diet is going to his head?
“On this [Apple Watch] in five years will be applications that will allow me to manage my health care in ways that five years ago were not even possible,” Bush said during a question-and-answer session after his event at Four Peaks Brewing Company in Tempe, Arizona. “Someone will send me a signal, it’ll come here, I’ll get a double beep saying you just ate a butterscotch sundae or something like that, you went way over the top. You’re a diabetic, you can’t do that, whatever.”
