Former White House Communications Director for George W. Bush Nicolle Wallace seemed to give an early presidential announcement for Jeb Bush in an interview with Yahoo’s “the Insider” on Thursday.
Wallace said, “I’m so excited that Jeb Bush is running.”
She also stated that she wishes Hillary Clinton wasn’t “the woman” running for president, but one of many, and that the country hasn’t “arrived” until this happens. And “Republicans have said much worse things about me than any Democrat ever has. So, those fights hurt a little more cause you feel like ‘oh my God, I’ve spent more than a decade electing Republican presidents, working for Republican governors. How can they be mad at me?'”
Wallace also weighed in on comments about Hillary Clinton’s appearance, arguing that such critiques are “irresistible when it comes to females in power,” and that “no one has ever been asked the questions” that Sarah Palin had to face in 2008.
