Actor Mark Ruffalo posted a link to an investigation based on Peter Schweizer’s new exposé Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich on his Twitter page Thursday, a possible signal that Schweizer’s book has penetrated the Hollywood establishment’s liberal entertainment elite.

In his post, the Avengers star took a jab at presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, calling Clinton’s involvement in the newly revealed Uranium One scandal a “problem” and reiterating his desire to see Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren challenge Clinton for the Democratic nomination in 2016.

“This’s the problem! #RunWarrenRun,” Ruffalo tweeted in an early-morning post on the social media site. The actor’s tweet included a link to a New York Times article detailing new allegations of improper conduct against Clinton first revealed in the new exposé Clinton Cash, by Breitbart Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer.

Schweizer’s Clinton Cash, described by the New York Times as the “most anticipated and feared book of a presidential cycle,” reportedly reveals new information about donations made to the Clinton Foundation during Hillary Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State.

In the article linked to by Ruffalo, the New York Times uses the book’s reporting to explore the allegation that millions in donations from a Canadian mining company executive flowed into the Clinton Foundation after the company won lucrative uranium mining concessions from the U.S. government.

Ruffalo earned Oscar nominations for his roles in 2014’s Foxcatcher and 2011’s The Kids Are All Right. He’ll appear next as the Hulk in the forthcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

In February, the actor co-signed an open letter along with 90 other Hollywood artists urging Sen. Warren to challenge Clinton for the Democratic nomination.
