On Monday’s broadcast of “CBS This Morning,” Tina Brown declined to comment on Clinton Foundation donations, particularly regarding donations from foreign nations that are oppressive to women.
Brown, the former editor of Vanity Fair and the Daily Beast, has been a vocal supporter of the Clintons in the past and downplayed the history of the Clinton Foundation.
“The Foundation is the Foundation and–you know, they are going to have to sort whatever it is they do out,” Brown said. “I mean, this woman is running for president now. We’ll see how she handles all of this.”
The new book by Peter Schweizer called “Clinton Cash” is set for a May 5 release and will detail the Clinton Foundation’s financial dealings, including donations from foreign countries while Hillary Clinton was the countries chief diplomat.
