Former Vermont Governor and DNC Chairman Howard Dean declared that Hillary Clinton is “the only person running with any modicum of foreign policy experience” on Monday’s “MSNBC Live.”
After being read a piece in the New York Times about some of the challenges Hillary faces, and asked if “Clinton fatigue” would be a problem for Hillary, Dean responded, “I don’t think so. The elite, which of course includes editorial writers for the New York Times, has one view, but it’s not shared by the American people. The thing that’s so strong about Hillary Clinton, is that she’s an incredibly good manager. She’s also the only person running with any modicum of foreign policy experience, and that doesn’t often determine elections, but it’s really important in this incredibly tumultuous world we now have. So I’m pretty optimistic about the race” he stated.
Dean later added that Republicans have “slim pickings” among their field.
