Fordham University Associate Professor and author Dr. Christina Greer said that Rand Paul has “a woman problem” and “clearly is intimidated by women asking legitimate questions about his past” on Saturday’s “Melissa Harris-Perry” on MSNBC.

After host Melissa Harris-Perry referred to Rand’s “attempt to mansplain tax policy,” and him “making the ladies shut up,” Greer commented, “he does have a woman problem. He clearly is intimidated by women asking legitimate questions about his past.”

Harris-Perry also added that while Rand should “calm down a little,” “we don’t know what’s happening in his mind.” Both did point out that Rand’s style could work well for him with some primary voters, but Greer also argued that these voters wouldn’t be enough to help him win a general election.
