During a town hall in Jamaica with young people, President Obama quoted Bob Marley, reminding them that he visited his old house the day before.
“You remind me of something Bob Marley once said,” he said, referring to a time when Marley performed a peace rally concert once two days after he was shot.
“He said, ‘People who are trying to make this world worse are not taking the day off, why should I?’” Obama recalled.
“So none of us can afford to take the day off,” he asserted, before announcing plans to invest $70 million for job training and education for the youth in the Caribbean.
