If you’ve donated a minimum of $25,000 or raised at least $50,000 for Jeb Bush’s Right to Rise PAC, you can stay at South Beach’s swanky new 1Hotel on April 26 and 27 to attend a gathering of Jeb’s top bundlers.
But what the heck, at least that earns you a break on the high-end hotel’s room rates, which begin at $700 per night—along with the opportunity to party with Jeb and Columba or attend formal meetings on the second day.
Meetings with his top bundlers will occur at 1Hotel on South Beach, according to multiple people planning to attend. The venue opened just two weeks ago with a lavish launch party attended by celebrity guests, including Paris Hilton and Tommy Hilfiger and celebrity chef Tom Colicchio…
Those eligible to attend needed to donate for Bush’s political action committees, called Right to Rise. Many planning to attend are expected to have raised well beyond that minimum. He’s spent the last few months raising millions of dollars for the PACs in the country’s money capitals — including stops this week in Chicago, Boston and Nashville.
The hotel includes 426 guest rooms — with rates starting at $700 per night — four pools, and five food or beverage options, according to local reports. Guests for Bush’s meetings are expected to pay a far lower reduced group rate, according to some attendees familiar with the plans.
Jeb’s people aren’t talking on the record about the event, however, a Washington Post report has details, including the schedule.
The conference begins the afternoon of April 26, with an opening meeting in the late afternoon; dinner with Bush and his wife, Columba; and a late-night party beginning at 9 p.m. They resume Monday morning with breakfast, more meetings, a working lunch and conclude in the early afternoon, when Bush plans to hold a photo opportunity with his guest, according to the attendees, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly about the plans.
