CNN’s Borger: Hillary Starts Out ‘Underwater’ Due to ‘Trust Deficit’

Thursday on  CNN’s “Wolf,” network chief political analyst Gloria Borger said it will be a difficult task to overcome the majority of Americans who now view former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as not honest or trustworthy.

Borger said, “It’s difficult for a candidate to start out underwater on the honest and trustworthy scale. She’s also underwater with independent voters. That’s really important in swing states. Whether hangover from the Clinton years or Benghazi or whatever, Hillary Clinton does have a trust deficit starting out.”
