Monday on Fox News Radio’s “Kilmeade And Friends,” FNC’s senior White House correspondent Ed Henry said President Barack Obama’s failure to follow through with his threat that Syria would be crossing a “red line” if Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad used chemical weapons on his own people has resulted in several Arab nations not trusting that Obama will ever use “military action.”
Henry said their doubt is resulting in nations like Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt to unify against the threat of a nuclear armed Iran.
“This is a proxy war basically between Iran and now other Sunni Arab nations on the opposite side, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and others who are sort of, basically developing an Arab version of NATO,” he said. “America is not going to be their for them.”
