Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Sunday that an emerging nuclear deal with Iran was “even worse” than Israel had feared, warning of a new Iranian “axis” that was “dangerous for all of humanity and which much be stopped.”

Netanyahu’s comments, reported by news agencies, came as Western leaders changed travel plans to extend negotiations in Lausanne, Switzerland in the hopes of reaching agreement on a framework for a deal before Tuesday’s March 31 deadline.

Meanwhile, President Barack Obama “kicked off the spring season on Saturday with a weekend golf getaway in Florida, teeing off with former NBA star Alonzo Mourning and former sportscaster Ahmad Rashad,” Yahoo! news reports.

The emerging terms of the deal would allow Iran to maintain enrichment at the formerly hidden bunker site of Fordow. Iran is still pushing for sanctions relief up front, knowing that the U.S. and other nations want a deal at almost any price.
