Columnist Charles Krauthammer said that while the majority of the media will coalesce around the Democratic nominee in 2016, Hillary “is one of the few Democrats who are somewhat out of favor, with some, and perhaps a majority of the mainstream media” on Monday’s “O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel.
“With the Clintons, it’s somewhat different. I do think that whenever a candidate emerges, it will likely be her next year, but she’s now a little bit shaky, it’s not 100% certain. I think once the race narrows down to one Republican and one liberal, — and one Democrat. It’s a slam dunk, the media will go entirely over to one side, whoever it is. But Clinton, actually, is one of the few Democrats who are somewhat out of favor, with some, and perhaps a majority of the mainstream media because of they’re history in the 90s” he stated.
Krauthammer added, “I don’t think it has to do with substance. I think it has to do with — the Clintons have used them and abused them for 20 years, that rubs them the wrong way.”
