President Obama is hosting a meeting at the White House today with “immigration advocacy leaders,” but the event is closed to the press.
According to the White House, Obama is expected to “provide an update on the Administration’s immigration accountability executive actions” during the meeting before he leaves Washington D.C. for a immigration town hall in Miami.
Although the meeting was originally scheduled to take place in the Oval Office, the White House announced that it would be moved to the Roosevelt room.
