Thursday on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” former White House chief of staff to President George H. W. Bush, John Sununu, said NBC News’ Brian Williams being suspended and losing $5 million in pay over falsely claiming he was in a helicopter hit by a RPG in Iraq in 2003 has now opened up former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to questions about a similar incident, when as a presidential candidate in 2008, Hillary claimed to have once landed in Bosnia under sniper fire.
Laughing while discussing the sniper fire incident, Sununu quipped, “You know, Williams really has done her a disservice because it creates the opportunity for those who are going to be making strong criticisms of a lot of things she done. This adds to it.”
