Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin wants failed presidential candidate Mitt Romney to get off the stage as Romney, the career candidate, seriously considers a third run White House run.

“We need new energy. We need new blood,” Palin told Inside Edition when asked if Romney should make a third run for the White House. “We need new ideas.”

Before last year’s midterm elections, Palin told Breitbart News that Romney was in “never never land” for proclaiming that Republicans would pass amnesty legislation if they gained control of Congress even though GOP candidates were campaigning against Obama’s executive amnesty that most of the electorate opposed.

After Romney told donors last week that he was seriously considering another White House run, potential rivals like Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) called him “yesterday’s news.”
