Former Florida Gov Jeb Bush was in New York City on Tuesday and met with popular Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, according to reports.
A Bush aide refused to reveal the nature of the talks between the popular host and Bush, who appears to be gearing up for a run at the presidency.
The meeting, which took place at O’Reilly’s office in New York City, came on the same day that Bush announced the creation of a new political action committee in the run-up to his likely presidential run. The “Right to Rise PAC” has already crossed the $100,000 mark. Bush announced last month that he is actively exploring a presidential bid.
O’Reilly’s show is currently the highest-rated news show on cable TV.
