USA Today Washington Bureau Chief Susan Page declared that New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will run for president in 2016 and that such a move is “not really good news for Jeb Bush” on Tuesday’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports” on MSNBC.
“So, we’re going to have a race for the Establishment side of the Republican Party. That’s not really good news for Jeb Bush, it’s kind of easier for him if there’s a big fight on the right end of the party and not for the place where he and Chris Christie are competing for some of the same votes and some of the same fundraisers, but i don’t think there’s any question in hearing from these two men in the past week that they are both running.”
