Former New York Governor George Pataki is placing blame for the deaths of two New York City Police Officers squarely at the feet of outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio.

In a tweets dispatched over the weekend, the Republican expressed his sadness and disgust at the murders of NYPD officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos at the hands of Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley, who was reportedly out for revenge against police for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

“We mourn the loss of 2 #NYPD officers. These murders are a sad reminder of the dangers they face keeping NYC safe. Our thoughts and prayers,” he wrote.

Pataki went on to name Holder and de Blasio — who have been pushing a racial narrative — as linked to the murders

“Sickened by these barbaric acts, which sadly are a predictable outcome of divisive anti-cop rhetoric of #ericholder & #mayordeblasio. #NYPD,” he tweeted.
