In the 3.8 years since John Boehner (R-OH) has been Speaker of the House, U.S. debt has skyrocketed $3,815,285,317,834.71, reports CNS News.
“The $3.8 trillion in new debt that the federal government has accumulated under the spending deals approved by a Republican-controlled House of Representatives over the past 3.8 years equals $2,772,736,422.84 in new debt per day,” writes Terence Jeffrey.
The staggering spending casts a glaring light on what conservatives deem out-of-control spending by a Republican House that claims it stands for fiscal responsibility even as Speaker Boehner worked with President Barack Obama to pass the 1,774-page $1.1 trillion cromnibus bill Thursday.
“It stinks to high heaven,” Gov. Sarah Palin told Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon. “RINO [Republican In Name Only] season opens soon and don’t hold back.”
Other notable conservatives, like nationally syndicated radio host Laura Ingraham, blasted Boehner and the other Republicans who went along with the pork-bloated spending bonanza.
“We will not forget the betrayal,” said Ingraham.
Earlier this month, U.S. debt surpassed $18,000,000,000,000.00.
