Cruz, Levin to Speak at CPAC

CPAC 2015 has announced that likely 2016 presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz, radio host Mark Levin, and business whiz Carly Fiorina will speak at the event, scheduled for Feb. 25-28.

The American Conservative Union (ACU) will likely feature other 2016 candidates as well. ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp stated:

We are honored to announce that conservative talk radio powerhouse Mark Levin, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), and ACU Foundation Chairman Carly Fiorina will deliver remarks at CPAC 2015. These three conservative leaders reflect our desire to ensure that CPAC 2015 represents conservative policies that highlight the importance of free markets, national security, and traditional cultural standards.

Cruz, delighted to speak, asserted, “I am honored to be speaking at the American Conservative Union’s CPAC conference in 2015. ACU is bringing together the brightest conservative leaders and activists at CPAC to focus attention on restoring America and protecting our Constitution. This event promises to be one of the best CPAC’s ever.”

Levin added, “Ronald Reagan delivered one of his most important speeches at CPAC, uniting conservatives and ultimately restoring our country’s greatness. This CPAC will be decisive. I’ve been asked by the American Conservative Union to explain why our principles are just as important today as they were at our Founding. We must get this right.”

Fiorina echoed:

The recent midterm elections reflect Americans’ desire for conservative policy solutions that will restore America’s standing after years of liberalism’s failed policies and cynicism. The Left has wasted America’s time with its so-called war-on-women for long enough. Conservatives will focus on lifting up all Americans, revitalizing the innovation and growth engines of our economy and providing opportunities for every American. CPAC 2015 will bring conservatives together as never before for a national conversation on how to best meet the challenges we face.

ACU touted “The Road to CPAC” as a year-round CPAC experience which will include a 100-day educational introduction to the issues and policy conversations planned for the February event.

Schlapp said, “‘The Road to CPAC’ will provide the tools and resources conservative activists need as they prepare to come together in February. We must respond to Americans’ call for real change by expanding CPAC from a four-day event to a 365-day, year-round experience.”
