Governor Chris Christie appeared more than willing to export a quarantined nurse from New Jersey to her home in Maine, following a storm of controversy this weekend over how health officials treated her.
The nurse, Kaci Hickox, will be transferred to her home via private transportation, where Maine officials will have to determine how to handle her quarantine.
Christie pushed back against the idea that he was backing down from his instated 21-day quarantine policy.
Christie appeared comfortable erring on the side of caution in the weekend fiasco, after the nurse publicly complained about her treatment.
