The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that during a round-table event focusing on women in Milwaukee Wednesday, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, the head of the Democratic National Committee, accused Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker of giving “women the back of his hand” and “grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back.”
The Florida congresswoman said: “Scott Walker has given women the back of his hand. I know that is stark. I know that is direct. I know that is reality.”
Wasserman Schultz added: “What Republican tea party extremists like Scott Walker are doing is they are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back. It is not going to happen on our watch.”
Apparently, Wasserman Schultz’s New Tone-violations accusing Walker of violence against women occurred during a discussion about the minimum wage and abortion.
Democrats are desperate to defeat Walker in November, and this shrill rhetoric exposes a Democrat Party that might know something the polls do not.
