Former Secretary Hillary Clinton admitted that she probably made a mistake when she suggested that she and Bill Clinton were “dead broke” after leaving the White House.
Clinton made her comments during an interview with PBS anchor Gwen Ifill.
Clinton added that although Bill Clinton defended her in an interview with NBC’s David Gregory on Tuesday, it wasn’t necessary.
Bill Clinton insisted that Hillary’s comments were “factually true” citing the millions of dollars of debt that they had when they left the White House
Clinton added that they were “very grateful” for the “terrific opportunities” that had but reminded the audience that she and Bill Clinton worked hard to achieve their success.
