On April 15th, Amazon delivered a box of condoms to an “8-year-old Staten Island girl” and will not reveal the sender’s name to her parents.
According to CBS New York, a Staten Island couple was “horrified” after receiving a package “addressed to [their] 8-year-old daughter” which “contained two boxes of condoms.”
The couple called Amazon about the delivery and was told “it wasn’t a mistake and because of customer privacy the company couldn’t say who sent them.”
The New York Daily News reports that the mother, Christine Angelides, is the one who found the package and she contacted police afterward. Police are investigating and “detectives may subpoena Amazon.”
