A Rasmussen poll published March 31st shows that voter support for gun control is at its lowest point since February 2012.
The poll was conducted March 26th-27th.
According to the poll, voter support for “stricter gun control laws” is at 40 percent – a 9 percent drop from what it was in May.
Moreover, voter opposition to further gun control is at 53 percent. This is the first time a solid voting majority has lined up against tougher gun control laws since the heinous crime at Sandy Hook Elementary, and it is “the highest level of opposition [to more gun control] in over two years.”
