Suspicious Package Shuts Down Capitol

Capitol Hill was shut down early Monday morning due to a “suspicious package,” a police source tells Breitbart News. Traffic in Washington was backed up for miles due to security concerns.

An individual who police believe is responsible for the item was apprehended, the source told Breitbart News.

The Capitol has since been reopened.
