Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is the third most influential person in the world behind Pope Francis and President Barack Obama, according to a new poll.
When asked who they thought was the most influential figure in the world, 23% of Americans said Pope Francis. Obama came in second with 21% and Cruz third with 11%.
Rasmussen Reports conducted its survey between December 11-12, polling 1,000 adults in the United States. The results are below:
